AlexRenew's new customer service system, MyAlexRenew.com, is now live. This system upgrade includes a new customer account portal, additional payment options, alerts, and a new help/chat feature. We’ve also expanded our customer service hours, to make our call center available from 6 a.m. - 6 p.m., excluding holidays.

How to Register for MyAlexRenew.com:

To register, you'll need:
1.    Your current AlexRenew account number
2.    The email address associated with your account
3.    The zip code of the service address

 Here are the new features of the improved customer service billing system:

  • Live customer chat assistance
  • Additional payment options for Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal
  • Autopay options for credit/debit cards
  • Customizable billing notifications and payment reminders
  • Expanded call center hours (6 a.m. – 6 p.m., Monday through Friday)

Frequently Asked Questions:

Will I need to do anything different the next time I pay my bill online? 
Customers will need to update their passwords and confirm their account numbers the first time they log in to the new portal.

Where do I find my account number?
In the top right corner of your paper or digital bill – your account number will also be emailed to you when the new portal launches.

Will my account information automatically be transferred to the new portal? Will my account number change?
When you log-in to the new portal for the first time, the rest of your account information will automatically roll over. Your account number will remain the same.

Will I have to update my AutoPay information?
If you have previously enrolled in AutoPay through the old portal you will not need to update your payment information.

Will I receive a paper bill? If I am already enrolled in paperless billing, will that change?
Paperless billing will automatically rollover to the new portal, so customers who are already enrolled in paperless billing will continue to receive a bill via email. 

Will I be able to talk to customer support?
Yes - Customer Support is available via phone or chat from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.

What will happen with my current payment plan? 
Any existing payment plans will transfer to the MyAlexRenew.com portal.

How do I log in/register a MyAlexRenew account?
To register, you will need your account number (top-right corner of your bill) and the email address associated with your AlexRenew account. Step-by-step instructions are available in the MyAlexRenew Login Guide.

As always, customers who prefer to pay in person can still do so at our administrative office at 1800 Limerick Street in Alexandria, VA, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
